DIY Fall Crown Leaves

This is a very fun activity that includes Math, Earth Science, and Art.

We talk about Autumn and why leaves fall and changed color, we talk about chlorophyll and the oxygen of the trees. Then we started gathering the green leaves, then yellow, then red, and finally brown. Each kid needed to have 8 leaf total and we started to create our crown. We poked a little hole in each leaf and then weave them with a rope, then cut with scissors and Voila!! a beautiful crown of the process of the leaves right into the heads of this happy kids!
