Today we had a fun day mashing fruit to get some paint. The kids loved it and smell yummy!!
Materials:
Fruit with thin skin like berries (Blueberries, Strawberries)
Veggies rich in color ( tomato, broccoli)
Colander
Bowl
Fork
Instructions:
If you want to thicken up the paint you can add a small amount of flour to each of them paints you have created - to help thicken it up a bit. The amount you add could be about 1/4 to a 1/2 a teaspoon per paint bowl.
And then we were ready to paint, we even made some brushes to paint with sticks and pine needles and leaves.

Instructions:
Collect the fruit you plan to use in bowls or buckets. Then mash the fruit with a fork, in this case, we use sticks from nature, and then put it through a colander (mash some more) to finish up collecting all the juice.
For making a green color paint - we use mashing broccoli and added some water.
